"Utkin's performance was full of life and spirit. His command of the instrument is perfect."
"With uncommon skill, Mikhail Utkin combines sincere, unconstrained music making (let us make notice of his superb intonation) with passion, rhythmic and dynamic freedom, and a wide variety of tone colors."
Muzykalnaya Zhisn.
"Utkin has demonstrated the highest level of expressiveness - something that could be realized only due to his perfect command of the instrument."
Leipziger Volksstimme
"By his captivating, rhythmically accented playing, Utkin again and again added sparkling beauty to the performance of the three world class soloists."
